Andrew is an international expert in reservoir engineering and oil & gas field development planning, and has been writing and commercialising simulation software for the oil & gas industry for over 35 years. His full field integrated gas planning software is in use by oil majors including ExxonMobil, Petronas Carigali and BHP Billiton. 

Relevant expertise:

  • Participated in two successful oil & gas consultancy / software house startups in mid-1980s and late 1990s; one with Leo Mullins in 1997
  • Chief Scientist with USD $100m international geophysical processing / software company
  • Sold, installed and supported software applications into major international oil & gas companies including ExxonMobil, BHPBilliton, and Petronas Carigali
  • Shell International operational and software support for reservoir simulation.
  • Expert mathematician (A.W.Wadsley Theorem in differential geometry) and software developer (Gasplan, Ressim, Resnet, Tasmap, E&P Workbench, Tidal)
  • Umpire and Expert Witness in oil & gas reserves disputes
  • Internationally recognised Reservoir Engineer and author of 22 technical papers and presentations

Mr Leo Mullins

Leo is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience. He trained with KPMG as an external auditor. He worked as a professional accountant with number of international accounting firms including KPMG, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Ernst & Young. For the last 15 years he has worked as a consultant to the oil & gas and ICT industries. He has presented papers and authored numerous publications on digital product management, invented and patented a digital management technology which will be used by SSL to commercialise its technology.

Paul has extensive experience in scientific research, technology development, international licensing of intellectual property, innovation based start up financing, entrepreneurship, company management and corporate governance.

  • Technology Consultant - Advising European multinationals on technology licensing in Switzerland, advisory board member of WorleyParson's Advanced Energy Solutions in Singapore, advisor to Imprimatur Capital Ltd in the UK, and associate of Australian Aerospace & Defence Innovation Ltd/AADI Defence
  • Entrepreneurship and capital raising - Founder and co-founder of a number of  technology companies, all successfully managed from start-up through to public listings in Australia and internationally.

He is the recipient of the IBM Chairman's Awards for Entrepreneurship, is a non-executive director of a number of listed public companies and is an adjunct Professor of Business Studies.
